Does switching to the Paris Commune invalidate French achievements?

Hello everyone!

I am planning to play a France game to obtain the new "Champagne Socialist" achievement (and possibly others). To RP a bit, I was thinking of switching to the Paris Commune through the dedicated journal entry. If I remember correctly, doing that also implies some tag switching.

Does that invalidate achievements tied to the France tag? My guess is that they don't, because upon winning the revolution one's own tag switches back to France's. However, I would like to tap into the community's collective wisdom to make sure...

Very good question. I peeked into the code but I'm still not entirely sure.
I think if you do the March on Versailles then France annexes the Commune and you become France again with Communard characteristics. However, I'm not sure about if it goes to the Civil War itself.
