The title should explain this one but the long and short of it is that I can't seem to figure out if it's possible to mod the GOG version of Surviving Mars (which is the one that I own). The game's popup seems to say it isn't but my attempt to google the subject says both. If anyone can give me a concrete answer on this, please do. I really do need to know this.

Do you know where I stick the mod files? There doesn't seem to be a mod folder in the game folder and I'm not 100% sure where to put the mods with this version of the game to be able to use them.

It goes in your "C:\Users\xxxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\Mods". xxxxxxx is your user name. The You might have to create the Mods folder.

Before the first GoG-patch (much later then first Steam-patch) there was no mod support for other then Steam users. Now we have, as mention above.
But we have to hope and wish that mods find theire way to Nexus, or are created at ex GitHub.
900 creations at Steam, about 100 or so on Nexus. That is Paradox version of Full mod support...
