Question in the title. To be more specific, does the religious conversion events (both the violent one and the peaceful one) occurs to the AI? I have DVIP.

Keep in mind though that vassals can only convert to the realm religion: an catholic vassal of a catholic lord can convert his lands to catholic, but an orthodox vassal of the same lord cannot convert to orthodoxism.
