I'm pleased to announce that I've solved the British India problem that had been plaguing this mod for a while, and for my part, killed any interest in developing it for a few months.

However, using a completely counter-intuitive solution involving my last DD-ARM version of the mod and the Paradox Hoi2 editor, we now have a working British India in the mod. It's not ready to release yet, but it shouldn't be long before it will, probably in the next couple of days when I'm happy with some other smaller fixes. As of now, it is mostly untested, but dry-firing the events will force British India to release India, which will then annex British India.

Bold 1: Yep, happened to me for some weeks also :(, but Im back, and I will work on the mod again. :)

Bold 2: Much to my suprise, it works for AoD but not for HoI2 DD nor ARM...
 
Small update...

I've been tinkering with a lot of events and the resource/IC balance, and I'm not yet happy with where we are. Too many countries had too few resources to feed their IC, and I've made some crudely effective alterations to this. Darksoul and I are also working on problems regarding ESE for "continent states" like the Draka, US, Germany, etc. that arose in 1.04.

As it is, the game will run until at least 1961 without a crash, but none of the powers will invade Japan. However, the 42 scenario runs fine until Germany is annexed, and then will CTD. As it is, we need some serious balance tweaking, the Draka AI will nearly always attack Germany through Italy and Bulgaria rather than strictly through the Caucasus, and no country under any circumstances makes a landing in Japan's home islands. Draka infantry runs way, way too quick across Europe for the size of the German forces involved, and this needs some work on both sides.

That's the progress report, we are making strides, but every issue fixed seems to bring on two or three new ones.

Some weeks ago, I did some tinkering with the models.csv and organized everything, I am prepared to release that as the 0.1.9 if everyone agrees, just so we have the same version to work with.
 
Can you email that to me? With all of the development going on lately I'm not ready for a release yet, but I'd like to include what you have.
 
just downloaded it and used jsgme, but I must have done it wrong because France has control of Tarawa and nearly all the Gilbert islands. Otherwise it looks good, glad this hasn't died out spent many hours on the DDARMA version, but am using the manpower fix due to lag issues post 1942.
Edit: Also, Austria has what I believe to be Australia's flag, granted they only exist for 4 months...
Edit 2: The event dealing with Draka atrocities show up as the tech team increases skill event in dialogue, but with correct choices as per event file for some reason?

Might want to check which scenario you're using, only the 1936Draka and 1942Draka are at all functional.

I'll check on the flags, I've been meaning to resume development of this, but real life and other concerns have been holding me back. If I had to guess, the ones for AST were labeled AUS somewhere. I'm the event writer, not the graphic guy.

I was wondering, will the old tech tree from the ARMA 1.3 version be used? It made a lot of sense due to the wanked out Draka tech, so I'm guessing the goal is to eventually merge it, give them all the '39 techs in '36 and blueprints for many others?

I haven't touched this in a while, to be honest.

I have a fair bit of unreleased work that still needs balance testing and event work before it's ready for release. I haven't heard much from Darksoul lately, and I've done most of my work in collaboration with him.
