Don't you get forum badges with GOG purchases?

A couple of days ago, I got the BATTLETECH Mercenary Collection in a great GOG sale. I don’t know how such an amazing game flew under my radar.

I’m aware that the Paradox forum badge system hasn’t been updated in a while, but I’ve seen that other users have all the BattleTech badges.

Does anyone know why, after activating and confirming that my GOG copy and DLCs are registered to my Paradox account, I’ve only received two badges?

link your Paradox Account with your Steam Account (gog account? ) and THEN sync you accounts. It may or may not take more than a couple hours after all of this.
I copied the above from an Old post - It has been years since I did this so memory is foggy. Badges depend on what you own - DLC - I believe some were for Kickstarters

Yep. When you acquire the content in GOG. It is a bit different. You should redeem the GOG keys in your paradox account. I did it, and the Battletech content looks associated to my account. However I got activated two random badges but not the rest.

Idk where to ask about that. It is just cosmetic but I really like this customization

I had problems with badges a couple of years ago (some games I've bought three times and never got badges). I was told there was a problem caused during an update that should be corrected within the month. It never was.

I had a similar experience after getting a GOG bundle — only a couple of badges showed up even though all DLCs were linked properly.
It seems the badge system hasn't been syncing reliably for some time, especially with non-Steam purchases.
Hopefully Paradox gives it a refresh soon.
That said, BATTLETECH is such a gem — glad you discovered it!

It os absolutely amazing... In a way that now I got the Lore Book of BattleTech Universe an the set with the 8 mechas. Really nice Transmedia goody!
