I bought the HOI Anthology from a store today; and installed it respectively from HOI2, HOI2: Doomsday, HOI2: Armageddon. Then I went to the Paradox forums to install the patches. In the order of installation, I installed Armageddon patch 1.2, next Doomsday's current patch. I removed the disc from the PC and after that, I had noticed certain things when loading the game of my choice.
I can load up HOI2 and play through the tutorial thus far. I haven't tried to play a game yet but I am uncertain if it'll play so I'll do some further checking and edit my post soon. As for Doomsday, I launched the game, tried to get into the tutorials and it crashed. Next I tried again on Doomsday, loaded a game of 1939 and it crashed again. I then tried Armageddon and it crashed with the message: "Error in DB -- Do you wish to continue?"
Next it continued when I aborted the run. It's message said:
Runtime Error
Program: C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Armaggedon\HOI2.exe
abnormal program termination
I am going to try reinstalling the game again, download the current patches (even if it's beta) and see if the game works. I will be installing according to this order: HOI2, Doomsday, Patches for Doomsday, HOI2 Armaggedon, the patches from 1.2, 1.3 Beta 1, 1.3 Beta 2.
There are certain things I did notice. When I loaded Doomsday, the scenario files "Armageddon" and a few others were missing their picture, and the countries flags were all missing, as if they're now willing to fight without a national flag. Hovering over the former flags would be a greenish bar.
What have I done wrong? Is my installation wrong in that order, or does it have something to do with the patches?
I hope there will be a reply soon.

edit: I have solved the errors within Armageddon. The errors persisted because I did not install the 1.3 Beta 2 patch. If anyone did not install the 1.3 Beta 2 when the DD patch was installed to its current version, these errors I had within HOI2 will exist.
Hope this helps anyone who has any problems with the installation processes.
