I am playing Granada in the grand campaign. I am doing very well, got most of the Iberian pennisula except Tago, Castille, and Gibralter (to keep the CB against Spain). I know I have a very very high BB, as I have annexed many provinces and entire nations. Whenever I go to war for whatever reason, whether its me declaring war, or helping an ally, or someone declaring war on me, a host of nations declare war on me. I can understand that.
What I don't understand, is the following situation. Spain and Portugal are on 2 separate alliances. Portugal LOVES to declare war on me. Then Spain would follow soon. I am extremely used to this, so my siege army with 100 cannon would immediately march into empty Castile with minimal fortificatons for the 100th time (while I decide which undefended Spanish colony to annex in Mexico). Then the province falls I get 4 stars, and I would demand a province in the new world plus 250 ducats, and they usually accept. Then my army would move on to Tago (again, minimal fortress and no army), while I decide which Portugese colony to demand. As my army was sieging Tago, Spain would declare war on me......after I get Tago and a Portugese colony and move back to Castille, Portugal would declare war on me......its a never ending loop, and even though eventually they are without any European provinces, without any allies, without any armies, stability hovering between -3 and -2, and they would still declare war on me. The only way out of this loop is to use 2 armies to siege Castille and Tago at the same time to "sync" the peace treaties so that I am at peace with everyone at the same time.
I think something is seriously wrong with the AI. They just hand their provinces one after another to me this way.
For info I am playing v 1.07 of the GC, not fighting any other wars, game difficulty and AI aggresiveness maxed.
