Downloading mods

Can someone tell me how to download mods?I download Magna Terra and created an new rome folder in another directory(works with eu3) and when i start the
game it creates the cache and in the start menu when i hit single player the game crashes.

I dont want to rant or anything but can someone help me please.

This is a problem I ran into with Reign of the Ancients, so I'm not sure if the problem is the same, but what fixed it for me was to delete everything in the cache folder except for the province textures file which you should empty out (meaning delete all the stuff inside of it). Hope that helps.

Nope its still not working.Every time i hit Single Player the game crashes.

Ok i solved the problem.The reason why the mod crashed when i hit singe player is because i hadn't downloaded the province textures for Magna Terra.But thanks to Archaalen for
trying to help
