Since my last post in this thread i have added to my main Dr Rare's New Sprites thread at stony road lots of new hoi1 work and screen pics including....

Hello,

One question for you Dr Rare. You dont have all the spirtes you have created for HOI1 all in one place and/or one zipped folder to download do you? Have downloaded them all but it just takes so long to unzip them all and sort them into their correct folders.

Sorry.The sprites are not available in a big pack as i offer many different options as you might have noticed.
eg.I have 2 different German Bergsjager Designs etc etc
These options could not be reflected with a large pack and some sprites are for CORE only etc.
Also the project is ongoing so every time i added new sprites every one using them would have to upload the new large pack again.

Follow the thread make your choices ,you will only have to do it once and then as each new sprite comes out you only need to add them to your game as you go.You see the project has been going a couple of years so you just have to play catch up a bit and then your up to date with the rest of us.
Also join the stony site if you like then you can subscribe to the threads there and you will know when knew stuff is added.

I will be releasing some more sprites soon including Polish Militia and a new Polish Cavalry alternative version +more??

If you havn't got it already you should check out my Hoi1 Deluxe Eu3 Style flag and shield mod as it really enhances the game.

I downloaded almost all the sprites I could find that you have done for vanilla and CORE but it has taken me ages to upzip and sort them into the correct folders. So I have made sure I have saved all the sorted files into a folder just in case I have to reinstall HOI.

Have been reading the forums here and on the Stony site for about a year since I got a copy of HOI1 but have been too lazy to actually participate in them.

And I cant believe that I waited until after playing all the major countries in a full campaigns before I downloaded the CORE mod, as it makes the game so much more enjoyable.

Well done!You will be up to date now, except for my new Polish sprites which i have released tonight .. see post below
Always Make a copy of your original GFX then if you have any problems you just swap it back.

I did not like the vague helmet/hat worn by the hoi1 paradox original Generic minors paratroop sprite
BEFORE....Paradox original design what all your games look like,no really, WTF has that sprite got on its head???Ugghh?

So i have changed it to a generic Para style jump helmet which all nations paratroops tend to wear ,that i think is far more fitting to represent Generic paratroops in game.This new Hoi1 paratroop sprite now looks very much historic as Paratroops across the world.It is just the original minors paratroop sprite Doctored!

Please note.As this sprite uses the same original spr files and palette ,only the bmp files are needed.

Ok i have updated my old Norwegian infantry sprite with a new set

New Hoi1 Norwegian Sprites.

Hoi1 Norwegian Infantry Sprite v.2
Hoi1 Norwegian Militia
Hoi1 Norwegian Cavalry

My original Norwegian Infantry is now demoted to Norwegian Militia with improved kepis.they are replaced by The New Norwegian Infantry Sprite v.2 wearing Greatcoats and joined by the New Norwegian Cavalry sprite.

btw, your croatia is strange! no harbour for croatia?[/QUOTE]Its not my Croatia!The harbour in game is nothing to do with me or my Sprites the pic is taken from the CORE mod which you probably know.I think it represents the fact that Dalmatia was occupied by Italy in WW2.
