Probably. An unexpectedly happy ending. Battered but unbowed and with the hope of a bright future to come because all the sacrifices were worth it. Probably best to stop before reality rudely intruded!![]()
Well, thank you!A most entertaining read. I did wonder about my usual congratulations on reaching The End (or FIN in this case), it seemed a bit superfluous given your prestigious output and how regularly you do so. But we should not take such things for granted or make it seems that they are not appreciated, especially given the number of works that get abandoned or otherwise fail to reach a conclusion. So, congratulations on reaching FIN.![]()
Thanks! It was fun to write too! They did indeed, in the end, die within days of eqch other, old and satisfied. This was a brilliant AAR, and that ending was nice. Persephone and Alexandros's relationship remains one of the best parts. Did they die together when they were old?
It looked bleak for a while...!It's nice to see the economy recovering.
Very. Alexandros was caring and the first of a more modern kind of monarch. How reassured were the inhabitants of Elysium by Alexandros's tour of the country?
We all need a Persephone in our lives! Finally got around to checking out the latest updates.
Surprisingly happy ending for Alexandros. Blessed to have Persephone by his side.
Thanks for reading! I think this AAR is one of my best ones when it comes to different characterizations. Glad to have you as a reader! In my project to catch up on what I missed this summer, this AAR was definitely on the list. Lately AARs seem to be ending on happy and hopeful notes. Thanks for this one. Good to see the last monarch was nothing like his monstrous father or some of the others of his family. Although I can't track all of your AARs, I am following your Egyptian/Greek offering in the Imperator subforum. Good to see you sharing your views and playthroughs.
