I play as Germany in 1933 scenario. IC 1.03 beta 9 over AoD 1.08.
The strange thing is, during the war, my IC drop instead rising. during peace time I have allocated IC around 400, but when in war only around 300?
And somehow I get a feeling that consumer good is not stable. It change many time till I don't know what the optimal number so I can set a fixed number for it and allocate the remaining IC for other area.

Consumer oods demands changes when you move sliders, change ministers and change the amount of available IC.
The latter is not a problem though, because CG is a certain percentage of your IC.
When shifting your policy or change ministers, check your sliders.

IC drops during wartime because you chose the "Wartime Economy" tech in the beginning.
You get an IC bonus to prepare for war but lose it when war is declared.
But you get some events later ("Wartime Economy") which give you free IC.

About that CG, the fluctuation happen not when I change the slider. It change like, umm what should I describe it? May be like supplies. Today we have 12 div eating our supplies, next month we have 35 div using our supplies, the next week we have only 7 divs. Something like that. So, it is not because I change my slider or my political.

And about that war time economy, how much free IC I will get? is it more benefit (add more IC than what I lose), or still below my peace time available IC?

Do you use advanced sliders? Just lock the CG sliders and they shouldn't change.

Free IC will will fire about 2-3 times till 1945 which gives you more than 20IC - with Central planning and ministers you can add to that value.
A good boost, but not really needed if you are winning.
Wartime / Peacetime economy are there for balancing reasons.
Play some more games and you 'll get the grip of it.

PS= When researching a technology, read carefully what it does.
There are also some country - specific strategy guides available on line.

no, I adjust the slider my self. The one that change is not the slider, but the number. today CG needs 8.79, next time 30, next time 28, next time back to 8. Something like that. Could it be that my saved game corrupted?

Yeah, I haven't play IC like I ever play Hoi or DH. I just bought it and just mess around a little to get a feel about the game.
