Dropping to Desktop (not CTD)

I just swapped my old monitor for a newer, bigger better one and experienced some problems, the main one being no PC games work?!?! The game loads fine, I see the logo, trailer etc. and then the game drops to the desktop (still running) as soon as the game starts to load. I then use alt-tab and ctrl-alt-del to restore, but it is drops back to desktop again!

So I switched back to my old screen and fired up eu2 and WC3, neither work. I then tried all my games but none work! I'mn still getting the same problem with my old screen as with the new one.

A few things I tried to do to get it to work:

- Plugged in the screen again and again and again
- Reinstalled graphics card (Radeon 7000/ Radeon VE
- Downloaded latest driver for Radoen 7000/VE and installed

all these with no success. I need help!

I assume at first look it would be the Monitor driver. Always best to rest driver to default before switching.

It was actually the Keyboard software I downloaded... That keyboard died a horrible death at the hands of my brother.

Yeah it was one of those hotkey keyboards, it must of mucked about with Monitor settings. :wacko:
