Bug 1.02: Disease Effect Malfunction

This is something I suspected in other situations, but only documented in detail as follows. I was building a structure in Bira. It was supposed to take 12 months to build. A little while later, I got a disease in the province. I didn't note which one. I looked at the province and the completion time for the structure was now 84 months. I figured that was because of the disease. Several turns later, the disease disappeared in that province. I checked the structure's completion time and it was 76 turns. That seemed odd to me. I figured it should return to the non-disease schedule, so I discontinued the construction and started again. The new one was built in 12 months. I assume this is not working as designed.

Well, according to the developers it is working as designed, but it's obviously silly since you can cancel and restart. At any rate this is a duplicate for now.

Btw, please don't use "Bug" in your report titles - we moderators rename threads to "Bug..." when we add things to the buglist... :)
