Or I don't know how it should. I've built plenty of them and the give NOTHING!!! Shouldn't they increade my demense limit?

Having apparently managed to overlook the dozens of threads already on this subject.... The answer is NO.

Having a Royal Post just means that you lose a maximum of 80% (100%-20%) rather than 100% when over the demesne limit. In other words, so long as your demesne is only 0-8 provinces over the limit, they have no noticable effect (unless you also have a Grand Palace)

The 20% reduction in the max penalty applies to the province it is built in.
