Should we use the Gotter idea of generating some leaders for the Papacy and for the Palintat?

(as you can see from the first post we will be using a small number of good random leaders-2 per session probably-and there almost certainly will be leaders given as a result of quests)

And I'd also like to point out I don't really want Venice in this game, the Pope should be the Italian power and I think Austria needs to be able to expand into Italy in order to be a decent power and be able to RP (not annex all the HRE minors right away)

Agh, then ill change my third choice to Austria :).

1. France
2. OE
3. Austria
 
I could perhaps play a HRE minor if there is room and the right conditions.
 
Like I said earlier we are probably using FAL's 1492

However with a few changes to the starting techs I think.

Russia should go to Land 5 and infra 2
Sweden should go to Land 5
Poland should go to Infra 2

Any other comments?

Will we havea common colonial / aboriginal culture?

I'm asking because I am strongly in favour of introducing it. :)

I believe that we will thusly have more colonial wars.....more action overseas....which is, imo, a good thing. :D

What do you think?

Hey. Mondays or Thursdays should be ok.

I'd like either:

The Papacy
The OE
Venice
Holland
 
Only if nationalism disapears before the province gets 5000 pop...
 
Important Message​

After discussing with Bob we have agreed that the Pope shall be HolistigGod, but thats not all he will be. He will also be the head of the church (mosque or whatever its called in the Ottoman Empire) of the Orthodox and the Muslim faith. He will be able to do similiar things to Catholics as to Muslims and Orthodox nations.

HoG will not play the nation in-game, he will RP in the thread so the new player nation in Italy is Venice. The quests will be reworked and all the other stuff needed will be taken care of.

HoG will make a post where he more detailed explanation of the new system and perhaps some history as well. We wouldnt want you not to learn anything from this game. :)

I hope everyone is happy with this and I ask you all to make a new list of the nations youd like to play without the Papacy.

Thats the equalent of a priest you know. Wouldnt want a priest controlling the entire catholic faith now, would you? :)
 
I think it will be strange for 1 person to play 3 different religious personas :). Maybe other players for a other religions would be more interesting, should make religious wars and alliances more frequent.

Also, Orthodox leader of faith will be strange since Russia will most probably be only Orthodox nation in the world :).

It will be a interesting game to follow.
