Why didin't you cancel last week? IIRC there were a lot of players missing then. And then I wouldn't have to spend the next 20 years repairing my country. We are only missing I think four players now, and one of them is a minor with pretty much nothing to do, and the others aside from England are also pretty minor. Russia was AI'd already so it can't get much worse. I think you're just afraid to fight the OE now that I'm back Abs

Ah yes, I can understand why you wouldn't want to risk having to be subbed when you have a somewhat valid reason to cancel the session

The thing is though that we didnt have any subs ready, except maybe FAL or Ear but I hadnt checked with them. I started working on my essay as soon as I got as I got home so I had no time. And if I hadnt been present it would be five players missing, out of ten or so. The point I was trying to make was that if I didnt play today yet another country would be ghosted or AIed, as Portugal, which is in war would hog a player that could play another country instead. Sessions which have around half of their perms present and ready to play are not generally good sessions, perhaps with minimal rehosts and minimal lag but also with less fun.
Have you stopped giving quest rewards? I don't see any report on them and Bavaria did claim one.

Own all provinces of the Crimean Khanate for 100 years
After ensuring a long peace in these lands the people there feel safe enough to develop the economy in peace and to protect their newly developed economy they built forts. So the reward will be an increase in the forts in Kaffa and Crimea and an increase in base tax by 1 in each province. IDs: Kaffa 464 Crimea 463
In 1600 make sure that Islam controls x out of y island provinces in the Med (Balaeres/Crete/Rhodes/Naxos/Malta/Sardinia/Cyprus/xxxx) Controling more will give a bigger reward
In the year of 1600 Islam controls 3 of the islands in the Med. Despite trying to spread Islam even further than these 3 islands success havent been met. Although their efforts have not all been in vain, in 1600 Cyprus accepted Islam for some reason. At the same time these small islands produced a vast amount of wine and sugar. These efforts resulted in an increase in the trade technology, to be more exact 1500 ducats. It also increased the treasury by 500. So Cyprus (484) will be converted, 1500 added to trade technology and 500 added to the treasury
Bavaria
Make sure that no German provinces are in the hands of non-Germans (will be checked 1600)
Bavarias work for keeping Germany in German hands has been almost constant the last 100 years. They have fought wars to ensure the German souveignity and they have inspired people to start businesses to help their effort. They have also inspired people to aid the scientists in their work for a more developed land technology. Weapon manu in Oberpfalz (348) and 1000d to LT.
Everyone that had a quest which would have been checked 1600 have lost their chance to gain a reward for that one. You must let me know if you have completed a quest or think you have completed a quest. I cannot check every quest after each session to see if they are completed.

Tremendously sorry for not beeing able to organize a sub last night.
Sadly matters were out of my hand. The shabby Lao Bus I was travelling in broke down in a small remote village 200 kilometres south of Vientiane and I was forced to spend the night in a farmer's hut with about 342454554 mosquitos.
I just arrived back in civilisation today....

Christmas and New Years Eve is coming and I think we should pause the game during these holidays. My proposal is:
We play on Thursday the 21th and then pause it for the next session and after that we continue on Thursday the 4th.
