Playing as king of Germany I had a countess - part of my dynasty and my kingdom - who died without heirs.

I inherited the lands, and at the same time the 'unmarried' flag appeared on the top right hand corner of the screen. The marry action was greyed out, so I didn't get to organize the first official undead wedding, much to my disappointment.

I saved the game, then reloaded. After reloading, the unmarried flag disappeared, so I guess this is just a temporary graphic glitch. Still, I don't think anybody else mentioned this bug, so I thought I 'flagged it up' for the developers working on the upcoming patch...

Cheers!

The ghostly Kuno no longer asks me for a bride

I had the same problem in a multiplayer game on Saturday. Playing as Duke of Bavaria, my son the Bishop of Nüremburg died. At that point he came back to my court to haunt it, asking for marriage. Meanwhile I saw him still as Bishop of Nüremburg in my vassals list, whilst the other players saw the new Bishop. During this time the shield over Nüremburg was blank. A reload fixed the problem.

Have fun

What you also can do to fix this is to find the dead character in your court and then open the console with F12, type in: die, and then close the console again with ctrl+F12.

Then the character is 'really dead' and the indicator disappears and you don't need to go through the hassle of save and reload
