DV June patch - Conversion from Catholic to Catholic

Note I am Orthodox, the province is Catholic and when I say "I will crush them" under the "Religious tensions are rising..." event, they have a 50% chance to become Catholic. Should be Orthodox. This same event converted a catholic province to orthodox I believe with the patch previous to June 2nd. This event fires fairly often so its painful to not have the conversion.

This is event 6400 and my ruler is Orthodox so we have:
ruler_religion value = orthodox
But obviously somehow "set_to_realm_religion" is catholic not orthodox.

During the game, my capital moved from Mozhaysk an orthodox province to Firenze a catholic province after I gave up title to all my other provinces. I have 3 orthodox provinces, 3 catholic and some muslim/pagan.

I'm willing to bet your liege (the king) is catholic.

A "set_to_realm_religion" command always takes the uppermost liege's religion, so a province ruled by an orthodox duke under a catholic king will turn catholic, not orthodox.

Ditto for counts under that duke or your courtiers in the religious education track -- as long as your liege is catholic, nothing you can do. You might even get events asking you to convert.

Oh boy that was a huge mistake by me then. Makes perfect sense. Perhaps your break free mod would have penalized me even more for the mistake
