Just some feedback on the automated education events... I like them, it makes education a little less deterministic. And I get some court education people rather than only ecclesiastics and soldiers, which is what I would get if all kids obeyed my orders and studies what I decide for them. :D And they don't actually fire that often for me.

No, I don't think creating an ahistorical small kingdom there is a good solution -- it will exist for the rest of the timeframe, and gobble up all the Russians. Might as well give Kiev or some other russian the Rus title then, and that title didn't exist during the CK timeframe.

An inscription on Yarolslav the Wise's tomb calls him "emperor". That aside, remember that the term Knyaz essentially means "king" (how it is translated in German and Latin in the 13th and 14th centuries). Thus the ruler of Polotsk is called by the Livonian Chronicle "king of the Russians of Polotsk", likewise the ruler of Kiev in early CK period is consistently called "King of Russia" by Italian, German and Byzantine sources (you can read translations of relevant papal letters online). If we're gonna have a CK kingdom based on 16th century history, we might as well play Europa Universalis. Rus politics are fluid in these times, it is true, but what doesn't work is giving some of the most powerful independent rulers in Europe "Duke" titles. The rulers of Kiev and the Monomakhi rulers of Vladimir-Suzdal are superior in wealth, power and prestige to the rulers of Bohemia, Poland and Hungary; that's how it was. The game makes them inferior.

I guess one could add the Rus kingdom but make it only include the south (Kiev, Chernigov, Pereyaslavl, Turov-Pinsk, Galicia-Volhynia) and another in the north, Vladmir-Suzdal/Rostov-Suzdal/etc, which joins Polotsk by being independent in the 12th century.

Aye, I want to add in novgorod from TASS and I'd like to look into throwing as many more kingdoms in from the mod as I can. Hell I'd like to add it all in, it'd be great to have a large hybrid of the two with all the different aspects thrown in, but haven't looked into heavy modding and will probably have to do without.

Will the homosexuall trait be in the next version? My son got an event about being it but got no trait and also did get married and did have several childs.

I don't update this anymore, it's been rolled into the addon. But to answer your question, I don't plan to include homosexuality as a trait -- in fact I have no plans at all currently to use the three user defined traits. If you know how to edit CK, you can create the trait yourself, or lift it from a mod that includes it.

How come you don't update it anymore? No interest or no time? Or you just feel that it's 100% done? :)

It's not finished (don't think it'll ever be until we get a CK2 :D), but I don't support it as a separate download any longer -- I've merged it with other changes to the main DVIP and now just refer to it as 'Addon'. This mod was focused on additional kingdoms etc., but the addon also has changed events, laws, and if I do decide to add or change traits, it'll go in there. But since the scope has changed this thread nor its name now fit.

Oh i did'nt notice that this was the More Kingdoms thread :eek:o

Thought i were in the Deus Vult Improvement Pack - Discussion :eek:o
