And another 50.000 prisoners. You will get there soon enough, the enemy is on his last legs. The rebels are a pain, but they always have been and always will. The important thing is that the American army cannot stand againt you

Looks like the end is not far off.

I should have mentioned another aspect that is now hastening the end...Spies. Once I started hitting 46 & 47 showing on all important Techs I began shifting Leadership to Spies lowering U.S. NU. So, convoy-losses, the spies and provinces falling right and left is closing the gap fast between NU and cities still in U.S. hands. The ratio is near 50/60ish. So yeah, not much longer and I can end this book. :D

The rebels are a pain, but they always have been and always will.

I read a while back where someone posted how to play this game w/o partisans, so I will be trying to find that command. The concept of partisans was very good but the execution is a farce, mainly because of the huge impact that can be made on A.I. nations and any sense of order. If you remember I had to back-up (earlier save) Germany and choose Conquest because the bitter-peace misfired. For years now I've had to see nearly all Axis nations including the Far East near Japan, rush all forces after a lone Mil somewhere in deep Siberia. Quite sad to see that wasted A.I. game.

“Swansong”
{2 June - 25 June, 1945}

When Japan tried to take the Mexican city of Monterrey for the defeat of Mexico with a paratroop assault, the attempt was a complete failure. I suppose it is pleasing that the final American city to fall was New Orleans due to our first successful Paratrooper-Assault against determined resistance on the ground. U.S. planes could not defend the skies any longer.

13,885 Japanese soldiers and 25,159 Americans fell before the end of U.S. resistance.

About this time you could wonder what did the Japanese invasion of North America cost in lives? The answer is a lot. Total Japanese/Axis killed in action 276,725 soldiers. Combining all Allied nations fighting in N.A. 449,330 more men died. That is over three-quarters of a million men. The conquering of the USA and its Allies was costly.
In addition, nearly a half-million Allied prisoners were taken across the hemisphere.

Unfortunately I cannot show the “magic grey box” stating my conquering the U.S. because on changing to the last day (which should have been the 26th) the game CTD. A reload produced the exact same result. And I am not replaying the last month in hopes of getting it.

Apparently the game did not like the new and massive "Empire of Japan". Thankfully I did take screens before this undesirable ending for my four months of playing, working in MS-Paint and writing.

VICTORY! Hurray! Congratz on finishing this great AAR, I had a blast following it.

Well done, I also discovered that one landing in the US was a no-go, and like you made landings exactly the same places! but included Florida on my hit list, dividing the monster army up in smaller combats.
Also the losses in the US war is nowhere like the losses on the east front due to a far too low number of US units. The US should be able to field as many troops as the Soviets due to a much higher population and produce more equipment for them by their more advanced industry.

Thank you Sebas for constant support and encouragement.

GG. Great aar. Can't wait to see if you'll make a new aar.

Same here. Too bad about the CTD.

start a hoi4 aar

Thanks guys for following along. I doubt I will do another AAR. Too much pain these days.

Thank you for coming out of the older woodwork and showing some support.

I warily agree about the USA MP issue but I will guess they "may" have had things more like what we think than we could know and found the U.S. could not be represented accurately in all regards because it would become impossible to defeat.

Playing with my X2 garrison rule and finally winning as you saw, was not hard but not easy either I had to think, plan or lose. Had they truly been the true powerhouse...no way could I have won unless other changes were made to the base game...i.e. "transported IC from nations you conquer" just like what the U.S. gives ENG and SU only Japan could acquire more IC as an Island-nation.

Cheers all!
God Bless all here with a good life of love...by the end.
