First of all I would like to say that I am very excited for East vs West release and always wanted a Cold war game in the clausewitz engine. The opportunities could be endless and be a GREAT game.

But we have not received any DD's or any meaningful amount screenshots at all since the livestream which was at the beginning of the summer with no legitimate reason why. Any attempt to ask politely or even talk about the pace of DD's is censored and against EvW Forum rules so I have come here to get a reply from somebody. I think I can speak for the EvW fanbase, we really want to see this game released and any info on this game would wet our appetite.

I was not expecting anything before the EU4 release. But it has come and gone (almost a month) and still we are waiting and waiting. One can't ask when news are to be expected, because the censorship comes in (DDR, anyone?).
 
There will be a new DD. Just wait!

The winner of the We are the World challange could choose a topic. And because of this the Devs have to write the DD first. If they are ready, they will release it.

These points still dosent explain why they have not posted a DD yet, How hard is it to write a DD?

Edit: Please try and excuse my rudeness, it is just upsetting to not receive any info on one of the most anticipated games to me in over 4 months.

it was almost one and a half month ago...
EU4 received 1 DD per week, so it can't take more than 2 weeks to write it.
plus taking a screenshot at anything take some seconds...

Yeah, because they start to write every DD just one week before the release of the DD.... :glare: The most of them were finished more then one week before they were released.

Why can't you just wait? *sigh*

And the developers and writers aren't the same as for EU4.

And you get new informations yesterday...

Why not? Sorry English isn't my native language. And it's late here.

I just say the devs already give a new information yesterday. Yes it was a small information. But it was a information. And I'm sure there will be a dev diary soon.

But it's really annoying to read every week the same question for DDs...

That piece of information is miniscule and does not change our understanding of the game at all. I posted here to get some answers for the EvW community not banter with you.

But they already said that there will be a new DLC... You just have to wait. What should they devs say? "Yes we will release a DD soon."? Or do you want the date?

the reason we are not seeing any new DD:s yet is because of PI. it is they who control when and what kind of real new info (not a post) get's released. Interestingly the developers have the time to write introductions about themselves which is nice but it does not replace a DD.

New DLC? The game is not released, some kinda reply from a higher up in Paradox would greatly boost the confidence of the EvW community. You cannot deny the facts. We have not received any significant amount of Information in over 4 months for almost no legitimate reason. The winner of We are the World was allowed to pick the topic for a DD a Month and a half ago. You can not deny these facts and they need an explanation. Not everyone in the world is into EU4.
