game is easy to win. AI always charges and doesn't do CAP. scenarios are boring and opfor are always placed close and in predictable locations. flying at 10m consumes same fuel as 10km. the f35 is actually a crappy plane but the devs gave it super power over the PAK. the whole campaign revolves around the stale GIUK line of 1968. title says arctic circle but most of the combat is below the arctic. I would think by 2030 we'd be waring for the hydrocarbons in the arctic ocean but instead we diddle around in the UK. nothing goes on in Alaska or Chukchi sea. where is the ice? why is it always warmer the further north one is? no whales giving false negatives on sonar, no civilian traffic. scenarios are boring and lack any strategic depth. its a niche game trying to update harpoon but it fails on all fronts

No need to be confrontational.

datupuki: You can always help to develop GCB. It has all the details like sound raytracing etc., and it's in constant need of people to help develop scripts, update database or just help with tactics. NW: AC is meant to be a game without the in-depth procedures (i.e. ready alerts for planes) or memorizing the fuel/height/speed flight profiles. OR if you want to design a challenging scenario using the NW: AC as a base and share with the rest of community, you are always welcome to do so.

Now, how exactly are YOU supposed to know that the F-35 is a bad plane? LOL, it hasn't even entered service yet. Also, if you have criticisms of the game, present them in a friendly way. Don't be a troll. Moderators, please lock this thread.

Also, what's your problem with the GIUK gap? I don't know if you realize this, but Iceland will still be in existance in 2030. It is still a vital strategic area.
