Extending the cataphract like that was necessary for the shots on one hand and also a bait. I was certain Id be able to take the firestarter out and wanted to lure his lighter mechs further away from the stalker. Without the Stalker taking part I would still have the numbers, initiative and firepower advantage even if he had been able to core the phract. On the other hand I had misjudged his other 35t to be a Firestarter as well. Not sure I would have been so bold had I been aware of the Jenner tbh.
And yeah, that very last match we had where you did beat the cr*p out of me with that 3 Kintaro lance definetly had an impact on my lance composition:
For the first 3 games against Prussian Havoc and you I did start out tanking everything with bulwarked pilots. So any kind of mobile strike aproach did not seam very feasable to me at first.
He was kind enough to introduce me to Paradise and the Firestarter in our 1st game though, completely crippling my Cataphract and turning the match.
Your show of the Kintaros amazing striking power on red city in the 5th and final game actually made me turn the whole thing around and come up with the idea of putting Arclight in there, the very day before the game with ECK.
Man what a ride! I did challenge ECK like 2 weeks ago having had 3 random games, simply to have an interesting match. When the game got postponed and I fought those 5 games in between I learned so much. Honestly I'd never been able to do this before. I think it was a surprise for ECK as well and I feel I kinda jumped him there. Definetly open for a rematch if the occasion arises.
