Editing for EU4

I want to edit my save so that in CK4 save so that when I import it to EU4 I can avoid having the unholy mess that central Europe turn into when it is broken down into individual duchies and kingdoms. I also need to fix the east and get rid of this one Irish county that is right dab in the middle of Arabia for some reason. When I signed on for alternate history I never expected this...

Then you should seek help in the EU4 forums, cause that can only be done in EU4. I recommend you take a screenshot or two of the world in CK2 before exporting the game and then doing the edits in EU4. Also, that mess is due to Paradox's code, so there really isn't much that can be done about it.

I agree, the changes are more easily done in EU4 then trying to predict how the EU4 converter is going to handle things today. Despite our best attempts it will never be perfect as a lot of features of the converter are at best lacking and at worst outright broken.
