Sodball...remeber that English is canarias' second language. Things get lost in translation. I am sure he is not accusing you of cheating in the sense that you and I normally think of it. I think he may be trying to say something to the effect of "play the game how it was intended and with the limitations imposed by today's technology and finite resources of the dev team".

Of course IC not perfect, and yes there are things that, to some, seem a little "off". I happen to agree with you about the IC aspect of the Luftwaffe creation, there should be something similar to Plan Z where IC is also affected in addition to MP. I also agree that Germany should not be able to produce ships beyond its current tech level. But all these things are editible with a little effort.

I have preferences that are not included in the game, so I simply do my own "mini-moding" to the various events and countries to create what I feel is a more realistic (or at least more desireable to me) scenario. It can be done...and if I can do it with my limited tech ability, then ANYONE can do it.

We should give the devs (and for that matter, everyone posting on the forum) the benefit of the doubt when we think they may be accusing/insulting. Things do get lost in translation, and I don't think anyone in the forum (devs included) have any ill will toward others in the forum.

All of us are probably quite knowledgeable about WW 2 in our own right (probably why we were drawn to the game to begin with). But like anything else, nothing is perfect and mistakes are made (e.g. Italians being on a par with the Brittish in production in the early stages of the war). Although one could argue that it did take the Allies some time to "ramp up", while the Axis powers had already been "ramped up" for a while by the time hostilities began. We all have our own ideas about what fairly represents historical fact and how best to simulate it in the game. With the more obvious or harder to live with differences, we can always tweak the game files. (That's the beautiful thing about the way all of the HoI games have been put together).

I think we all respect your points and your knowledge. And we also respect the devs knowledge and efforts they have put into making a game that most of us really enjoy playing. Whenever I diverge from their interpretation of history and how they have chosen to implement it in the game, I just do my "mini-modding". Life is much easier for me that way.

I f you would like any help finding and appropriately modding any of the events, scenarios, or countries, just IM me or probably just about anyone else in the forum, and I (we) would be happy to help out a fellow WW 2 gamer/buff.

Cheers and happy gaming!

The main events related to Germany (Barbarossa, Plan Z, Luftwaffe) has been revised and tested many times during the game development and in my opnion don't need to be revised.
I just want to clarify something ... Nothing is given for free to Germany in those events as stated by someone.
In one of my latest games SU not only stopped the germans but annexed Germany. I recommend play a few games before taking conclussions
Anyway, all the criticism is welcome and heard as we have demostrated.
I strongly recommend everybody to install the 1.01 patch and the revision 3
