Wow, nice events. What's the time frame for some of the later reform events? Aren't most players going to upgrade their tax collectors and judges pretty quickly? For political reform, why not ask if it's time to split the military and civil hierarchies again? They had been unified since the early 7th century, after all. Lots of scope for abuse.
Two other points, that I can remember right now. First, I'm not sure that many people would want to settle in the Holy Land, unless you're going to invite the Jews, which would be rather hard to simulate (province religion changes to pagan?
). See, for instance, the difficulty the Crusaders had in attracting settlers.
Second, on the tax and military reforms, how much are advances costing at that point? That seems like alot to invest/take away, although I usually am bored by the early 1600s and start a new game, so those numbers could be dead-on. Also, rather than giving a manufactory for the first choice in the tax repeal event, why not give 500 or 600 ducats (most of the cost of one), and then give just one manufactory for the second choice? Getting a bunch of manufactories from one event seems pretty unbalanced.

By the early 1700's, inflation has always tended to run tech prices through the roof. I've found that they can start costing 10-20,000 each in EU1. Even if this is toned down, the event would only put you ahead 2 years, which would actually help you keep up with the West.
I'll work on splitting the hierarchies. First, though, I want to make monarch lists for the various choices. Please give me a batch of free IDs.
I'm counting a number of types of people in the Holy Land events. First are the permenant pilgrims(10-20k). Next are mercahants, priests, etc. who come for their purposes(up to 5k). Also, there would be(in Jerusalem) a large number of pilgrims on their once-in-a-lifetime trip that would keep the population of the area up(10-20k). Finally, it must be considered that more people could afford either a trip or move to Jerusalem in 1500 or 1600 than in 1100, and there would have been less of a threat of a Muslim recapture this time. The Catholic and Orthodox Churches would also have been sending pilgrims, as opposed to just Catholics.
I was thinking of the later reform events startiong in 1778 and running until 1785 or 1790.
And just for a little fun:
Capture of Mecca
We have captured the Muslim holy city of Mecca. What shall we do to this infidel holy city?
A: Let it be(-25 relations w/all Muslims, -2 stability)
B: Destroy this black cube in the center of town and dedicate the city back to God(-100 relations w/all Muslims, they get a 5 yr. CB on you)
C: Destroy this evil place!(Mecca pop=500, -300 relations w/all Muslims, revolts in Muslim provs., +2 Stability, -3 to 6 stability in Muslim nations, Muslims get a 30 year CB on you, Muslims could get a Jihad event on you, they're racked by heresies[religous center destroyed, religion somewhat discredited])
Disclaimer: I don't mean to offend anyone, but what do you really think would happen?
