EEP crashes with the new beta on loading

Sorry, I meant the EEP buglist thread. It doesn't have all the strings, I just noticed a couple missing. Will hunt them down asap.

Nice, Axin, the new strings seems to be the problem right? I just came back from a weeks vacation and I'll look into your text.csv tonight. Have you added more strings than what I have listed in the first post in the bug thread? I'd like to do the addings myself since I have modified other stuff in text.csv due to bugfixing.

Not for me (and possibly others) it wasn't - the China.inc file was the problem with a double province entry and needing the cities deleted so Manchu inherits it probably (see buglist).

The solution, as Bodders and I figure it, seems to be to install the South East Asia mod by Philip V, as that solves pissing about with .inc files, and then put my text.csv in, as that gets rid of as many of the UNKNOWN STRING WANTED errors as I've been able to find

This does not work at all for me. I am playing with Russia in the 1520 scenario and around 1530 the game keeps on crashing. Maybe some event causes it to crash?

I beleive the problem has to do with the Country.csv file. If you are using the latest beta...Feb28th...then you need to have the entries for all the new tags in your Country.csv file....if you are not playing with the latest beta patch, then it should work using the old Country.csv.

Actually we were talking about the Feb 7th beta

It's ok, though, it works with the 28th Feb beta with the changes previously discussed in the thread - that is, the change to China.inc (either by hand or Philip V's mod) and the new txt.csv which clears up most of the 'unknown string' situations.

There would be a CTD if any of the new countries are in revolt.txt and not in country.csv but as they're not in revolt.txt then no CTD

The thread was started earlier which is what the discussion on page one is about.

No, the problem is not country.csv - as I said, it works fine with 2nd March patch.

Your problem sounds like a corruption in that individual game.

Okay, there's a new version of the text.csv up on the buglist thread, no real edits at this point other than the new tags but give it a try and let me know if you find any problems. Also, I've had a report of someone not being able to download from my site - anyone else had that problem?
