Eep = Gc?

Is the EEP only for the GC or will the added events work with all scenarios?
The reason I ask is because (believe it or not) I don't play the GC...

It can be made to work with other scenarios.

Sort of.

Go into your db file and copy eepevents_byz.txt (or, for you non-fantasy-event-installin' heathens, I believe your version's called eepevents.txt) over events.txt.

You'll get a whole freakin' bunch of events going off at the start of a nongc scenario, which has been reported to crash the game if you're low on memory, but otherwise things should be mostly ok. You don't get the changed setup, but most of the changes vanish by the time 1492 comes around anyway.

I'll need to try this once 1.05 comes out and I try playing again.

Probably not, since there are some scenario changes in EEP as well.

Yes you can, but there will be side effects like having twenty events trigger at startup of a post 1419 scenario. You could in theory add the event lines in the original GC and the events would work fine.

Not with LGC though
