I was mainly interested in if you could give me anything like leaders or event ideas, that hasn't been done in having the Qaras dominate the Persia region. What I posted in your thread is really all thats really been done. So I'm looking for suggestions. :)

So as a status report, I've rounded up all the common problems I can find and have set to fixing them. Once I combat those few remaining issues, the decline of the Timurid Dynasty in the 15th century is good to go. Need to work on the Mughal formation a bit and then I'm going to do a little indie release like Phillip V's SEA mod. And yes of course, I do still have some descriptions to write, though I actually did most of them while I scripted. :p

Now more and more bugs are popping out of the woodwork...:( So because I'm busy squashing those, I haven't had a chance to work on the Mughals as of yet. What this all means, is that my tentative 'coming soon' will more than likely be mid to late next week. Its coming along though. ;)

Ok sorry for the delay, but I got everything ready...Anyway, lets go...

The Qara Koyunlu Lasted until 1469 under Hasan Ali. While Jahan Shah ruled, Ali Shukr Beg, of the Baharlu clan, what the most prominent nobleman of Jahan's court. Ali Shukr Beg had considerable ability as a warrior and leader of men and army. When he was sent to Mirza Shah Rukh as an envoy, he hear about the dead of Jahan Shah, and took the city of Sultanyia from Shah Rukh's officers. Ali Shurk Beg took over and held the territories of Hamadan, Dinvar, and Kurdistan. The territories were known as Qalamrav-i-Ali (Government of Ali). When Jahan Shah's death occured, Ali Shukr Beg gathered the followers of Jahan Shah and set up an independtant kingdom with its capital at Hamadan. He ruled until 1473 where he was killed fighting in Azerbijan.

When Pir Ali Beg can to power, he tried restoring the prestige and power of the Qara Koyunlu tribe and tried to get the blind son of Jahan Shah, Abu Yusuf to the throne, but it failed. In the second try, they estabilshed power at Fars, but were routed and went back to Hamadan. But Ak Koyunlu power became to great and they left. From there they created thier power at kabul where they tried to conquer Iraq but failed and returned to Kabul. This all happen before 1480 where Pir Ali Beg was killed by the Sultan of Astarabad.

If you want to know more like how they transformed and helped the mughahl empire let me know.

Do you know, by chance, who ruled Kabul/Kandahar, when Babur attacked them?

So, after much consideration, I axed Shiraz. I found a better way to simulate Qara Koyunlu aggression and Shiraz was way too prone to revolt.

And then, actually coming this week...

I'm impressed by all the work done here Garbon, my congrats! I suppose that most of it will eventually be part of the merger, but since a first release seems some way off perhaps it could be in for EEP 1.4.2 as well, that would mean it will be tested and some of the problems that *always* occur will be ironed out. What do you say?
I plan to get 1.4.2 out in September or the end of this month. I know that Twoflower have made some minor changes towards the 11th May beta, want that file from him first.

That'd be great, I still need to go around and get replies on my Morocco tweakings as I know it needs to be overhauled eventually. But, yeah, that'd be great, I just need mainly to write a few event texts and then its 'finished' for the minute. :p Of course, if any members of our former committee (which I suppose is technically in existence  ) are opposed, the I'll go with my indie release instead.

OT, but I'm really looking forward to finally having those West African lines in the province.csv so colonization can work like it should. Though I noticed, and this is mainly for a merger, but Castile/Spain have a problem with trying to colonize West Africa out from under Portugal...

Won't the treaty of Alcacovas event take care of that problem?

It's supposed to cede all West African territory to Portugal. Other provinces could be added if Spain is colonizing them.

All of this, is about as done as I can get it at the moment. Khiva, Khorasan, and Transoxiana will still need descriptions, but only one of those 3 is my fault. Plus I think its okay for now since they are all revolters. But so yeah, I just need to compile everything (just separate it all into a compressed folder) and this is good to go for the time being.

Okay, my new setup that I know would cause Crook to roll in his grave, if he was dead. :p However, subsequent events don't make it so radical.

And when will you release the promised mod? :D

Technically, I could have already released it at its current state.

So, what the hell are you waiting for? I wanna get my filthy fingers on it and playtest ;) Don't make me wait, or I'll stop being nice, and you don't wanna see that :D :D

Its coming. I hate the whole, missing descriptions bit, so I need to make sure that everything I added (with the exception of Transoxiana) has a state description and all its events have descriptions. At the moment, I just need to finalize the GH's five or so new events for its break up, and my Uzbek Samarkand event.

Couple things...

Why is most of the land of the Khanate of Tyumen (Sibir) under GH control?

Also, no changes to the anatolian setup yet?
