Greetings from your eastern neighboor. Our principality seeks for peace and would like to intermediate a permanent peace between Poland and Brandenburg as also any one who ask for our help.

Saying that, I also would like to remind for wise leaders, that my country is trying to create the realms of Russia and none should interfer us in this matter. We also would like to remind that all Muscowian claims are must be united to Moscow as they are rightfully claims gave to us by God.

The principality also would like to politely ask for the re-unification of Christianity world, under the rule of the Patriarch. Jesus would love this and the Orthodox church works to keeps His primitives desires. The Roman church should throw away the new customs and back to the primitive Christianity, the true one.

Lastly we would like to say that the Margrave of Berlin is our friend and our country will protect it with all our forces.

Portugal 1492 – 1506​

I am back on the EU2 battlefield said Joohoo when all had wrote ”in” in the tab. So this time I landed in Portugal, interesting, it is my first visit in a MP game. What should I do? Hmm I will learn Portuguese and change my name to João. Now it is done, I am the ruler of Portugal, the King is just my puppet.

At this point in the world the Portuguese had one of the best navies in the world. People were queuing to explore new Worlds. Here is a painting of it, by João.

Other Portuguese’s were trained to merchants and sent Tago and to foreign CoTs to make money for the government. At the same time, forces were sending to West Africa to make some TPs and colonies. There were a lot of problems to establish those colonies because the % chances were against us. I got both good and bad events and my economy needs some upgrading. I will not tell more of my exploration.

Instead I will tell about the Crusade against the Berbers in Morocco which isn’t really much to talk about The war went on for a short while and then I annexed Toubkal and Sahara. Spain later joined the Crusade to annex Fez and dowing Algiers. The northwest Africa was a piece of cake. Well I just send merchants and settlers in the rest of the session really so my story ends here but to be continued next weekend.

Ministry of foreign affairs of France is sending its regards throughout Europe.
Ministry of finance instructed us to send request to mighty empire of Moscowy for constant supply of live bears for the entertainment and pratice of our king. (if you need furs dead one will go in the other direction) We are willing to pay dearly for that (at least in the time of peace). This is a matter of urgency - since our ministry signed peace with English, our king became depressed and started to practice shooting with his composite long bow. This, in itself, would not be so bad if our hats were not his targets. Fortunately, his aim is still perfect so noone died... yet. But working conditions are impossible.

Considering differences in our view of Christianity. Well, Nabukodonosor never really caught up with that. Since it was a while since his last incarnation we tried to explain him foundations of our faith. We started with a main symbol... cross, and, you won't belive this - he had a vision while starring in the hilt of his sword. He was, in his words, enlightened. But we were not! Not until we found out that his sword, if turned upside down, looks like a cross. Any further discussion with enlightened man was futile! We think that he never understood different forms of our religion. In fact, our opinion is that he thinks Russians use different type od swords than we do. And, as you probably guess, his sword is the best!

It seems the mighty warmongering Austrian archduke has the war turning against him, enemy troops marching, sieging and looting in his own lands. A first castle has already fallen to the Spanish troops and others will surely follow. I urge whoever be the next archduke to begin some peace negotiations with the alliance. The sooner the better.

Or maybe things should be better off solved on the battlefield?

General Situation: Oh dear lord we are in trouble, Austria to the north, Spain to the south, Turk to the East and France to the West. Luckily enough my extremely clever and inspired foreign policy has turned two potential enemies into allies. I had the people erect a statue of me in the Rialto to celebrate my magnificent achievments. I also agreed to swap the territory of Siena for romanga to make the map look better. As I write I receive word that the island of Cyprus has fallen to our brave troops. They have of course been annexed as per my brilliant recommendation. I have also sent a declaration of war to the other republic, Genoa to end the rivalry that has embroiled our cities.

Hooray our troops have beaten Genoa, We took their capital easily but our generals became afraid of the 20,000 strong army camped on the rocky island of Corsica. However i fearlessly led the assualt on the Island myself and scattered the invaders, however as i disembarked I twisted my leg and had to stay behind to guard the supplies aboard the galleys, It was my inspirational presence 20 miles behind the beachead that drove my men onto victory and the annexation of Corsica from Genoa, soon to be fully annexed by France in one of my aggrements. As soon as I returned home I ordered another statue constructed of me placing the Venetian flag on Mt Corsica as I battled hordes of genoan pirates. I am a bit concerned about what I am to do next, peace doesn't make statues as I always told my advsiors.

Well that was a nice few years of war and heroics by myself. It started with the pre-emptive strike on Hungary by our brave armies. We had the clear advantage in technology but our numbers favoured them. This was a strange war, as I repeatedly ordered my honour guard of 1,000 cavalrymen against 10,000 dug in infantrymen up a mountain I felt a crash on the back of my head and next thing I now, I am back in Venice. My advisors told me that I had had a fainting epsiode and had to be carried back, my head had a faint imprint of a Ventian sword handle that I recongnised on it, so I must have been carried back by my marshall personally. How nice. It was lucky that I came back when I did though as the Archduke of Austria sent a particularly foul-mounthed emissary called Dietmar Edwinson to threaten me unless I gave back land I had taken by right of conquest from Hungary. I quite naturally was taken aback but I agreed to give two provinces back in exchange for the Italian province of Lombardia. I negotiated with him for a month but he would not listen to reason and attacked, while his realm was wracked with revolts and unhappiness. The emissary who I will shorten to his intials, DE stayed in Venice looking smug as the Archduke sent his armies into the poor Republic of Venice, even the mighty Von Freundsburg thought it shameful as he looted towns that didn't even offer resistance. Our armies were brought back from Hungary but they were greatly diminished so I called our loyal allies to help me in my hour of need, the countryside was being ravaged but our armies had escaped to the coasr from Hungary and our brave fleet repelled any incursion of Austrian troops into the laguna Venata. I had to stay in my palace as I had a severe cold which I didn't want to spread to the men. For my quick thinking in spreading infection I had another statue made of me fighting hand to hand in a ship battle installed in the San Polo square. The war proceeded well after this as Von Freundsburg's army was crushed and Spanish and French aid began to make its mark on the war. At this point the emissary stopped looking so smug and fled the city in the dead of night to the concern of many other dignitaries and myself. The war was soon ended as a new diplomat called Jens Tomm Unterpommern gave an end to hostility by agreeing to a swap of Lombardia for Bant and Pest. To commemerate the end of this war I had a statue built in the San Stefano Square. It showed me reading a message with the Veneto-Hungarian war raging about me. I also called in Mr. Da Vinci to hang a lightbulb from my head to signify an brilliant idea, he decided that he would try to imagine brilliant ideas like i did. I wish him well but what chance has he got in competition from me?

1492-1520 : A brief History of Muscowy

After years of instability the Principality of Muscowy started to emerge from Darkness under the rule of Vasily III. In the end of the XV century, the Principality finish defeat The Golden Horde. This vile tribe appeared in Europe with the invasion of the Mongols and Gengis and was finally banned of the world for good.

With this victory, a enormous space of free land open to us: Siberia. Some scientist believes that China ca be reachable by land without having to have great Navy or fight the Muslin nations. Believing in this theory, the Principality started huge investments on colonization of this large portion of land.

But Moscow couldn’t forget his Russians brothers that were being subjugated by Lithuania. As Lithuania is a polish vassal, diplomats from Moscow was sent to Warsaw to discuss terms with the Polish King. Things were evaluating in a very good way for both countries. But in an action of madness the Polish King just “changed his mind” and close the channel for further talks.

This left Moscowy without any option than attack Lithuania and hope that Poland “changes her mind” again. But this never happened. Soon polish armies were sight in the battlefield. Actually, the Principality wasn’t prepared for a great war and in the beginning was taken only defensive operations. 100,000 polishes march to help Lithuania and soon were crossing the border with Moscowy. This was what the Prince wanted: BANG! A total victory was achieved and from the original Polish force, only 3,000 back to home.

This humiliated defeat made Poland “give up” Lithuania for while and soon the vassal was losing fort by fort. But, surprisingly, Sweden joined the war together with Poland against Muscowy and the right claims of unifying all Russians in one single country. Immediately the Muslin tribe of Crimea, that was once our ally, took advantage from our poor situation and attack Muscowy too. Situation was scared when God sent us his bless: Polish agreed to sell all Muscowyan claims of Lithuania for the Prince Vasili III.

With the work of our citizens and the gold and help of our eternal fried, The Kingdom of France, Muscowy could pay all his debits with the Polish King. It was time to deal with Crimea.

Without any problems, the Principality won a decisive victory against the Muslin and the Sheik accepted to give all his lands to the Prince, but the Crimean capitol. But secretly, the Prince was already planning to complete annex Crimea. Also Pskov, voluntarily accepted to join the Principality.

But it was in 1520 that the great news came: Muscowy found The Russian Empire and Vasily was declared Czar of all Russians! A New and great era started to the country. What can be expected from Russia now? Does it will keep the glorious Muscowy history? The first move was a re-approximation with Poland and Denmark, but keeping strong ties with our friends in Paris. One thing is certain: The Swedish aggression of Denmark while Russia has a peace agreement with Sweden won’t be forgotten…

Spain and France do not share the same point of view, as we know that demanding Steiermark from Austria means fighting an endless and meaningless war, as Austria will never give Steiermark, like Spain will never give up say, Andalusia.

The doge has been told to not discuss peace with the Austrians unless first discussed with the alliance partners. After further pondering, France and Spain have arrived to this final conclusion: Venice is to be removed from the alliance, and a White Peace is to be signed for Austria. France and Spain will not risk a war against a coalition because of the doge's claims.

Yes France and Spain are distancing themselves from expansionistic policy of dodge! We are against idea that Austria should loose Steiermark. Venice has not asked us for comment in this matter and Spain and France decided that his autonomuos actions are not in the interest of this alliance. We propose white peace with Austria as the sign of good will.

I arrived at the universal forum today and steped over to the diplomatic view and I become very happy that Venice is rejected from the alliance. Obviously he is too greedy and I do not recognize his claim on Steirermark either.

Danish king wants to point the new threat for the peace policy of the Northern Europe countries - Swedish rebels vile agression on the Danish lands, when the terms of the Muscovy - Sweden peace agreements were still fresh, left the Denmark alone against Swedish rebels army and navy. Norway and Smaland were invaded and after few months, Kobenhavn ( Copenhagen ) was under siege.

Christian II army ( 20,000 soldiers ) fought valiantly against similar Swedish forces in Ostlandet - unfortunately in this mountainous province, Swedish infrantry was much more effective than the Danish cavalry units. In the meantime, Swedish troops took the richest Danish province - Smaland - and striked against the true pearl of the north - Kobenhavn.

Danish economy, weak after former administrations decisions ( AI ), couldn't withstand the price of war, so we had to sign the peace agreement, and cede the provinces Smaland and Gotland to the bloodthirsty Swedish rebels.

Under these circumstances, King of Denmark, Norway and Sweden - Christian II appeals to the powers interested in mantaining peace in Europe to support Denmark against this major Swedish rebellion, which can easily spread over all the
european kingdoms. Christian II is the RIGHTEOUS Swedish monarch - not some mere rebels...
