Hey could we get it so that the shields "evolve" over time?

Like in the beginning you could have the old shield design, and then in the 17th-18th century have the Baroque shield that's currently being used in EU2, and then in the 19th century have the flags to make a smooth transition to Victoria?

That would be really really really ... awesome.

Not really since there's pretty much no space to the left on the first shield and to the right on the last shield.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the amount of space at each end the same as half the distance between the shields?

Surely you could fit some (skinny) supporters in there?

I was starting to work in a France in Portugal, and now I wonder, do we change to flag-style shields from a determinated date??

so from 1800(in example) all euro-sets to flag type??
