It is amusing to read that some people are dreaming that an arcade game will turn into a political trade simulation because it is published by a certain publisher and fans (if you don't like the game as it is now, how can you be a fan?) demand more features.

Paradox did a really excellent job with patching their own games. But let's not get confused. Paradox evolved. Things have changed and this game is not some exceptional individual's most precious creation (like EU2 and M&B). It's a game with a budget (an advertising budget) and now the game has to make money.

I'd love to have a decent trade / combat game in this time period though.
ETW was/is atrocious.

The game's been out THREE DAYS.

I think you are misunderstanding me.

The comments seem to be that people expect/want more complexity?

Palisadoes commented that it appeared the Devs were listening because they are patching bugs and addressing a couple of game issues.
Yes, I agree with that.

But, I don't see the Devs promising more complexity?
As I say, maybe the game is exactly what the Devs wanted?

@ollobrains
Please don't make 'statements' like that unless you make it clear that you are expressing your opinion or guess.
Posts like that tend to take on a life of their own and in a week posters will be talking about the patch due in a week... "I read it somewhere."

But this game is already turning in this direction. Read what devs wrote.:)
