Please, allow us to set wether Rodrigo "El Cid" Díaz starts as a landless adventurer or as a courtier in Sancho's court, like it used to be.

In pre RtP, there was an event where jealous nobles would pressure you into banishing him, which I think the ai always took. Some more historical flavor could be added in which ai Alfonso tries to murder his brother then banishes El Cid, like what is assumed to have happened historically.

Yeah, and that event could feature an option allowing you to switch character and play as El Cid, similarly to how Crusades and Norse adventures work.

I just recently got an event where Temujin’s son wanted to go on an adventure. I had the option to switch to him for the adventure.

I hadn't taken the decision to become the goat khan yet. But, I was playing as Temujin.
