I believe that Celtic cultures get access to Tanistry in place of Feudal Elective.

Rulers in the Celtic culture group don't have access to regular Feudal Elective at all, correct.

Personally I like Tanistry better then Feudal Elective. Zero chance of having anything pass out of my dynasty's control is nice, plus I still get to choose who I want as an heir and usually they win.

We also fixed elective monarchy awhile back so that the 2 pretenders correctly acquire claims on the title ( vanilla they receive nothing).

Yes of course, I agree, but I want an Elective Empire like HRE, just to switch on the Vassal position, to play with the Ck2 faction system, for roleplay, etc ...
And I keep a kingdom with the tanistry to stay powerful enough.
