The Empire I was building up for 500 Years suddenly got destroyed and all the vassals got independent. I have no clue and it was no message why that happened. I played an old save and no iron man. Is there an event or smth else that it can happen`?

OH NO! If only there was a thread for reporting bugs.

Checksum, version on which game was started, which empire, what was the event?

I checked the history some guy was elected last emperor of roman empire but my enatic empress was holding the title will check later more out had some cheat mod active but all the time the game was going normal. Was the last update of the mod on. I guess there must be an unknown empire mechanic for me cause many guys hated me a lot cause of the problem with the cheat mod. And my empress was inhereting the new title some years ago. It was feburary 1 1125 when it happened and 28.12 1124 that guy was elected roman emporer even i had primogeniture enatic empire. To that zunbil empire it happend the same. Both had imperial governments on.

I've had kingdom titles destroyed after several ruler changes in a short time (or perhaps dynasty changes). Could be the same mechanic here.

IKR?
Though,I have seen the abbasids lose the empire after their realm disintegrates through independance revolts, but I took that as a judgement of the noble community assessing the unrealistic potential for them to rebuild rather than a bug. :p

This isn't a bug, is it?

For example the Holy Roman Empire will dissolve if the ruler is not catholic, correct.
Same with Byzantium. The ruler can't be a non Christian religion (and some heresies)

Suggestion: should it not fire when a non-christian ruler inherits the title from another non-christian ruler? (If on the off chance a single non-christian gets in there before converting or being deposed in favor of a christian one, the empire would remain in this case).

A "Convert, or war!" event? Like it gives you a chance to convert, or the entire ERE revolts.
