This is how my city power looks (partly) - There's Power Lines coming from one corner of the residential area, but only that corner seems to be powered, and not the whole residential area, even though it looks like the houses connect them up.

I was messing around with my sewage trying to relocate it to somewhere else, as this suddenly happened. I suddenly started losing a lot of money and i'm not sure how to recover without taking a loan. I know that's probably the only solution atm, but i'd like to know how i were to fix this energy problem BEFORE i take the loan and go bankrupt afterwards??

I hope you'll help me!

Oh btw, the wind turbine & the power line from the right going into the city was just me doing a quick test to see if i could 'save' my town this way.. It did power some houses/commercial buildings, but.. Far from all.

Also, this is happening to the rest of the city (Industrial zones, haven't really gotten offices yet), as you can partly see in the right side of the screen. There's also some industrial area beneath where the picture was taken!

Are you sure that all your energy sources are properly connected ?
This happened to me too and I even wanted to stop playing until I realized that my solar power plant was not connected to the city.
The graph showed that I had enough energy, it was just in the wrong place.
