Mission tooltip says forever:

custom_tooltip = jap_isolationism_closed_doors_tt
tooltip = {
    add_country_modifier = {

    }
}

But the modifier itself is for 7300 days:

else = {
    add_country_modifier = {
        name = jap_enforced_mercantilism_modifier
        duration = 7300
    }
}
