Effects (emitting particles) seems directed to the front (positive z axis ) instead of rear.
There is something to do with the associated locator?
I try a rotation, without effect. (after all a locator is a point.. you cannot "rotate" a point...)

I don't want to change the original files (those into particle/ships) just to be able to use correctly..

Hi, yes you need to rotate the locator from where you want the particles to spawn. To do this you need to create a locator in Maya, place it at your engine and rotate it so its +z axis is directed backwards. That should do it.

Actually yes, I see that a locator can be rotated (and I wonder why..). I never thought it has a "self referencing 3-axis".
