Summary
Entire court resets on titular title successionDescription
If your primary title is a titular kingdom (or empire?) and your heir will also receive a de jure kingdom (or empire?) title on succession, your primary title preference will be changed to the de jure title, you may lose a large number of courtiers, your councillors will all be removed and their progress on tasks will be lost and, when you assign new ones, they will be performing the default tasks. Any assigned court positions will also be unassigned.Normally, you do not lose progress on tasks on succession, nor do you see most of your courtiers disappear.
Also, this error is still present: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...n-the-throne-immediately-invalidated.1566308/
I do not believe this bug was present in 1.8.1
Steps to reproduce
Own a titular kingdom and have an heir set to inherit it and a de jure kingdom. Starting as a custom ruler of Guiyi of advanced age with at least one child and several health penalties (I went for infirm, cancer, typhus and maybe another), set your councillors to specific tasks. Perhaps even assign roles to your courtiers. Upon succession, your heir's primary title will be Xi Xia, you will have lost your councillors as well as any progress on the tasks they were assigned to. Any assigned court positions will also be emptied.Note that this does not happen if your heir does not inherit a de jure kingdom title, such as under Partition or High Partition.
In the attached save file, achievements are disabled because I enabled debug mode in order to create the kingdom title.
