Description​

As it stands players need to complete Persian mission tree to attain the 'King of Kings' Achievement and forming Eranshahr disables this despite being a reward from said mission tree, likewise, Eranshahr is unable to achieve 'This is Persia' achievement considering Eranshahr IS Persia, or was.

I didn`t get "King of Kings" even AS PERSIA starting as ardabil. I guess the new mission pathing system is not working as intended or something like that, because i got all missions done

I didn't get King of Kings as zoroastrian Persia either. My guess is the zoroastrian path is broken (I didn't switch tags to Eranshahr)

You're also locked out of the Persian unique age ability if you form Eranshahr.

Eranshahr is also unable to achieve The Zoro-Austrians, the specific zoroastrian nation can't be used for the specific zoroastrian achievement. Which is kinda dumb.

Any fix yet? This is the one nation I wanted to play and it's lame that I can't.

I did Ajam > Persia, had switched to Zoroastrianism via Rebels, stayed as Persia, and did all the missions. Shows 9/13 progress in the tracker. Really sucks because I work so much and had spent like 3 afternoons to do this. It's coded for Sunni and Shia paths. No where does the achievement description says "As Persia complete the mission tree as Muslim faith." Hope there will be a fix for this without breaking the save; otherwise, I'm not going to waste my time on the game anymore.

I am in the middel of a The Zoro-Austrians run, hoping to also obtain the two other new Persian achievements. Went on to form Eranshahr without any thought that i would now not be eligible for any of the achievements! There was no warning or indication of this monumental change to the campaign. Please Paradox correct this error. I have seen a lot of other forum posts with similar experiences and it would be a great shame if we all were to loose our hard work.

Did you maybe update to 1.36.1 at that time? The patch allows Eranshahr to get the ability as well

As you can see in the images below, I own all of the Egypt region and the Morea area, and both are cores (not stated, although it doesn't change anything and it still doesn't work).

This is annoying. I started as Ardabil in 1.36.0. I can still get achievements in the new version but if they're bugged I'll wait until 1.36.2.

Just letting you know this is still not fixed as of 1.36.1. Just got all the required provinces as ERS and didn't get the achievement. The achievement looks coded to require Persia to have cores on the area, not Persia or ERS.
