Eras disabled, some buttons/features don't show up

Description​

I wanted to continue today my saved game as Spain. I started Steam, the launcher got updated (2024.1.) and then I began the game. I noticed I couldn't click anymore on the eras button. Afterwards I noticed also that the tab with "automatic send diplomats" didn't show anymore. Also the "edicts for states" button didn't show up, as if there are no edicts available. In order to verify the problem I reinstalled the game and restarted everything (also a new game) - problems are still there, so it is at the moment unplayable for me, as major features don't show up.
I tried giving me splendor via console commands to "force" the era interface to open up, but nothing happened. It is as if the features don't exist anymore.

I own all EU4 content.

I just noticed that my bought out stuff doesn't appear anymore - maybe it has something to do with the other bug thread regarding "lost access to all sprite music portrait dlcs after repackaged steam bundles were released" ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...packaged-steam-bundles-were-released.1618013/

The game and also Steam apparently now don't recognize that i have the following content:
- El Dorado
- Common Sense
- Mandate of Heaven
- Cradle of Civilization

To be honest I am a little afraid of this, and it hurts, given the fact that I only have time to play during holidays and shortly after.

I sympathize with you, man. I also have time to play only during holidays and shortly after, and I was robbed from being able to play since 19 December because of those repackaged bundles. I even asked the devs why they wouldn't just give us new Steam keys for all the stuff that we payed for, and the answer was that "higher ups" decided that they want a more systematic solution to the issue. Yeah, no systematic solution on the horizon yet, and almost a month has passed. That's what you get for buying every single product they released.

I know. I am really, really dissapointed and hurt by this. I am a long-term Paradox fan since 2007 and I brag about the Paradox games to everyone i reach to. The first game I ever bought in my life was EUIII. I am still playing all the immersive Paradox games, eventhough my university law research job doesn't allow for much time.
I would have expected at least a remuneration/salvation of some sort from Paradox for this stuff, like 1-2 weeks free EU4-All-subscription for the ones that experienced this until they solve the matter "systematically" so that at least we are able to enjoy the products as per contract. Technically we spent money on some products that we cannot use and our contract is being violated as we speak. I am giving it time until Sunday; afterwards I will take further steps in clarifying things with Steam/Paradox. Hopefully a solution comes as soon as possible.

Eu sei. Estou muito, muito desapontado e magoado com isso. Sou um fã de longa data do Paradox desde 2007 e me gabo dos jogos Paradox para todos que encontro. O primeiro jogo que comprei na vida foi EUIII. Ainda estou jogando todos os jogos envolventes do Paradoxo, embora meu trabalho universitário de pesquisa em direito não me permita muito tempo.
Eu teria esperado pelo menos algum tipo de remuneração/salvação da Paradox por essas coisas, como 1-2 semanas de assinatura gratuita do EU4-All-para aqueles que experimentaram isso até que resolvam o problema "sistematicamente" para que pelo menos estejamos poder desfrutar dos produtos conforme contrato. Tecnicamente, gastamos dinheiro em alguns produtos que não podemos usar e nosso contrato está sendo violado neste momento. Estou dando tempo até domingo; depois tomarei outras medidas para esclarecer as coisas com o Steam/Paradox. Esperemos que uma solução chegue o mais rápido possível.

Check the ownership of your expansions on Steam, most probably some things you have bought are not there anymore because of repackaging

Not quite, we have to give first the possibility to the two companies to "self-correct" first and set a deadline (normally how we do it in civil cases in Germany). In my case I will wait until Sunday and then I will start handling the matter directly (not via forum) and set another short term for the reparation of the contract and ask further for some form of recompensation. I trust that Paradox and Steam want to solve this, as it is a major breach of contract from their side and my hopes lie with them that they actually care about the clients. However If the things don't change, I see myself obliged to take further steps.
