I was playing CORE for the first time as Communist China. Things were running fine for a while. (Except, many countries have little or no IC. Even big countries like the US and Britan. Is that normal?) Then, many small countries like Poland, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, and various South American, randomly started to declare war on each other rapidly. A few ingame days later, the game crashed. I did put the AI on Aggressive, would that be the problem?

No, you're off the hook Salty. It's a problem that's already been identified and is, I believe, being worked on for the next release.

Since it tends to happen pretty much around the same time in most games, one thing you can do is save frequently when approaching the danger zone. Restarting after all the commotion seems to avoid the problem.

Correct, it's a known issue and our #1 headache. But it happens infrequently and usually isn't reproducible (which is part of the problem, as it makes it harder to fix). So set your autosave to monthly, and should it occur (in most games it doesn't) just reload your autosave and odds are that you're fine.

In my current game as the Soviet Union (0.25) Germany will always declare war on Republican Spain on August 3 1936, and then of course the whole allies will dow them, is this part of the issue? It happens every time I load the august auto-save, will have to try an older one.

Yep, try the oldautosave.

In my 0.25 game things have progressed more or less historically until April 1941. As my GER juggernaut builds up on the borders of the USSR, the Soviets will DoW Great Britain. Happens every time I reload the autosave, very close to the 1st of April.

Is this the same "crazy DoW" bug that is a known issue to you folks?

It's related to it allright... Those espionage failures, and resulting relations hit, are probably to blame. We will tweak those in 0.30 for sure.

In your game I think it won't matter much though. The Allies and Soviets are not in direct contact at any rate, so their war will have little effect.
