Error at launch - code 3221220565 - Steam install

Hi,

I have an issue when I try to launch the stellaris game from steam or directly from the install tree. The error code is 3221220565, found attach the log from the launcher log folder. I have tried all the recommendation from the error message, but it doesn't work for me.

I don't recall seeing that error before, on any game. What happens if you run stellaris.exe directly from File EXplorer?

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here. IF it fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.txt

That error code translates into BFFFECD5

That is not a Windows OS exception code (these all start with a C). Nor is it a Microsoft C++ throw exception (that one is E06D7363, or in decimal, 3765269347).

Are you sure you entered the correct decimal exception code in your post?

Sorry I have written 0565 at the end but it's 6505.

If I run Stellaris directly from the file explorer, it crashes without message. Moreover, I don't have any log file in the document folder.

Find attach the dxdiag.txt, the pdx_settings.txt.

Which implies a game bug, but if it were everyone would get it!

From that dxdiag you are very short on available memory, so please expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb

Optional: Increasing the paging file size on Windows computers

On computers that have 8 GB of RAM, the suggested paging file size is 16 GB.

AND exit every other app you can before starting the game.

And the video driver is 2 years old, try the latest

Note that integrated AMD video system is not supported hardware for this game. Has this game ever worked on this computer? Or never yet?
