Is there anything in Essos akin to the Others invasion in Westeros? I started up a feast of crows scenario and noticed a "Yellow Emperor" raid/invasion in Yi-Ti but they never took land, never had a war score about 0 and were shrugged off by Yi-Ti, it was a bit underwhelming to watch.
 
The Five Forts are the Essosi equivalent of the Wall, and guard against both raiders from the Grey Wastes and the occasional intrusion by the White Walkers.
