No, sorry. I doubt it will be soon as In Nominae is next off the blocks.

While understandable, this sucks. At least fix the 5 days battle retreat issue first, you just released the game.

EDIT: The more I read this the more annoying I find it. So you just released a game, the patch was not working 100% (5 days retreating), there are other larger and smaller issues and bugs with the game, and support for the game is on hold till you release your next game. Let's all pre order that one, Rome what?
I like EU3 very much and I was looking forward IN, but now, yeah, sure I will buy it asap....

Hello everyone,

Personally, I think that whilst a patch in the short-term would be good, it's a much more effective use of the developer's time and money to allow the game to 'live' a little and wait until more potential issues have appeared so that they may be rectified. It has been pointed out correctly that the game has only just been released.

The official Patch 1.1 has fixed a lot of the major out-of-the-box issues, and arrived very swiftly after the official release of EUR.

There's no real point in rushing a patch to fix one principal issue. I believe that there are plenty of User Modifications being developed in this forum which may be of use to keen players until a substantial patch can be created. This way you're getting more for your money and helping the Paradox to improve its future products. Nothing good has ever come from a quick 'knee-jerk' reaction. If we were to carry on in that regard then the Paradox Community would come to expect a patch every week or so.

I, for one, am very much enjoying EUR in its present state; enough to wait for the next patch.

Very best wishes,

Andrew

I would sure hope that even if there won't be an actual patch in a while, that Paradox could give us hotfix that takes care of at least the tech issue.

Hello DarthJF,

What does this Technology issue consist of? I haven't read about this yet,

Very best wishes,

Andrew

Basically it's about reseach times being much longer than they should be, thus resulting advances being discovered much later than they were historically.

There's more of it in here.

Don't get your hopes up for a patch any time soon. It's taken more than 6 months to release a full patch for Deus Vult(which was basically unplayable on release). Paradox needs to slow down and start serving the paying customers. Focus seems to be on releasing as many paid expansions as possible lately.

I am sitting here with an unplayable game based on a problem reported by several players using older video cards with drivers that are no longer supported, hense older video card drivers. Given that said video card and attached computer easily passes the published specifications for Rome I am not impressed.

The only way I can see this being fixed is a patch so naturally I am keen to see said patch. I like Paradox games and am happy to support them but this is going to make me pause next time.
