Hive,

Always a cynic. ;)

I'm not worried about intentionally spilling it with a group of vets. We're all pretty bored with things as they are. The much bigger problem is masking distinctive styles.

without NAT problems ?

so the next game can be named like "The Return of Sluthost" ?

Well. I have some tentatively great news.

I went appartment hunting today and I've found one with a 10mbit u/d connection!

Keeping my fingers crossed.
Some people of course already live in that kind of appartments

With a lovely view on the Leiden canals i might add :arrogantnerdsmiley:

And I bet you don't have to put up with a roomie.

Aw shucks. And you live in the warm and comfortable south.

Well. I'm defeated. :eek:o

'Warm and comfortable south'? You do know he's Dutch, right?

If that were the case I think a return to EU2 would be in order.

Aye, but what would happen to the exiled player? Would the campaign end for him? And if so, how will we be able to keep the campaign going, with players constantly having to quit?
Or have I misunderstood you? Would this rule only aply in very, very extreme circumstances?

Well, of course this rule would apply in some circumstances (rare I'd say. i.e. 4-5 times during the game?).

Also, with 1 exiled player, you need to automatically change another player. This could lead to problem with some players I think however. On my part I wouldn't mind changing country to make place for the exiled player.

Oh, yeah, right. Like you could get 30 players to show up on time, not have connection troubles, not have multiple CTD's, and actually not break out in foot-stomping fights with each other and the GM, all in the course of three hours time.

Of course, if you DID, it would be damn awesome....

maybe a 30 players test game just to see what its like.

perhaps a nappy or something.

ALl in europe of course. Lots of hre minors :)

You go old Tsunami style. You play with the people that got there, you don't rehost inmediately, people change countries and the like. Normal games worked with around 14 players after all (some of the Unleashed series got that number IIRC). So with special rules, a 30 player game could be possible. I drool anyway
(A shame that if it is a Sunday I could not play, but reading about the game could be nice anyway)

Tsunami was 22-24 at the most smooth moments, IIRC.

You can't have pre-set nations for a game like this, but rather first dibs and served as you come.

COuntry allocation could best be described as controlled chaos.
