My eu2 often crashes.
Suddenly the game just end and i am returned to windows.
Its very annoying.
Any ideas why this happens?

It happens more or less for every player.
Best advice I can give you is, upgrade your graphics drivers, your directx and your windows.
delete the folder avi in the EU II folder. You won't get the intro anymore but my guess is that you have seen it a couple of times already.
The binkplayer.exe used to play the intro has been known to cause a lot of instability to the game itself.

If KB's advice does not help please post your system specs and a little more detail so we can help further.
Which patch are you on? Each one fixes some of the causes, so we'd recommend 1.07.
A lot of these are not caused by EU2 but video or sounds drivers, or windows problems.
