EU2 Crashes with Win 98

When i playing my GC save game "England_April_1705"
it always crashes to the desktop someday in April
My english is poor,sorry...^^"
AVI folder renamed(AVI_back?)(Done)
Sound turned off(Done)
Direct X updated (Done)
Updated video Drivers(Done)
Re-installed EU2 (after used scan-disk)
Used the 1.07 version
Used autosave
north American version
....Crashes still happen every time?
but i can start a new in any country,and can play in 1705
What's wrong with that save?
My PC
Celeron 1.4G
320MB RAM
Windows 98 SE2
Nvidia GeForce 2 MX200 64MB

Looks like the save is corrupted some how.
If you can load the save and play another nation, then get past the point where the game crashed as England, then you may be able to resave and play as England again.

but my last save is in 1704,and who that save reach 1705,it still
crash.......
the latest save is in 1684,the inflation rate is 68%,
the rate is 31% in 1705.
Can I use other method

Okay, I just loaded your game and selected to play England and the game loaded fine and I was able to play past April without a problem.

I did nothing, so maybe try that do not perform any action for the month of April.

Also do you have any mods installed or have you edited the game in anyway?

The only other difference between out versions is that I have the latest Beta installed. So I suppose you could try that as well.

I don't use any mods & edited the game...I find a zip file,it's called "eu2_107b_1apr"Is this the newest beta version?

I even don't move the mouse,and crashes happen again.
Do you see any rebels in santee and western africa and the victory message was displayed in game when you play my save game?
Is that a cause of crashing?

Latest would be July 23.
The posts in that forum are in order so you have to look at the last post in that thread to find the latest patch.
