EU2 Critical Error!

When i try to play a saved game, appears this window:
"Critical Error: Can`t open Scenarios\ Savegames...." and the mouse become block. i got 1.08 and beta and spanish patch. Sorry for my english, Castellón. Can i wrote to you in Spanish?

Try this.
1) Start a new game.
2) let 1 month play.
3) Save the game.
4) exit the game
5) reboot computer
6) can you now load the new save game?

Also, check whether the "Save Games" folder wasn't created somehow (possibly a language issue).

from the directory where you installed EU2, go to "scenarios" , see if there's a folder called "Save Games" - if there isn't, make it yourself and try again.

Yes, i can. Also, i can load autosave. Maybe the problem is that i rename the save; for example: i change "Imp.Otomano_junio_1450" to "Imp.Otomano_PreGuerra_1450".
I will try to play another and save without changing the name.

I think it's the "." in the name messing it up- not 100% sure.
renaming them, in principle, should be no problem. (I do that all the time)

Do not use any special characters in the name, and be aware that there are two files for every save game.

Well, my first play and save problem was with Imperio Otomano. When you said to me to play a month and reboot, i made that with Aragon, and works. But after, i have made the test (play one month, save, reboot and try to play) with Imperio Otomano and don`t work.
I think the problem is only with Imperio Otomano saves`.

Well, i don´t use "" in saves. And renaming is not the problem.

I meant the . in between them, actually.

both autosave and aragon don't have a . but Imp.Otomano DOES.

Yeah, you got reason. And i must say that i don´t put the "." when rename.
