eu2_settings problems

Here's the deal. I installed EU: Crown of the North and EUII. After I installed them, I wanted to raise the resolution but everytime I click on eu2_settings the hourglass displays for a sec like it's going to work. It never pops up but it shows that it's running on windows task manager. I also can't run eu2 if I haven't ended the task on the task manager. Any Ideas? thanks

OPen the file directly with notepad or wordpad.
settings.cfg
Then just put in the res you want.

Thanks for the help it worked just fine that way. Just wondering. Is the eu2_settings supposed to bring up some kind of prompt?

Obviously it does not like your setup, normaly it is a nice little interface for Music on/off and for setting game res.

Probably caused by an incompatibility with your installed version of the OLE Automation DLL's. The settings program is quite critical in that respect.
